Writing

I started writing when I was six, and eventually, after many years, progressed from dull, fact-based diary entries to whiney, adolescent diary entries to more engaging stuff.  Since then, I’ve written across a range of genres: news journalism, travel guidebooks, weekly radio shows, some academic papers, many script notes, and a ton of irate letters to customer service departments in both the UK and US.  I also freelance as a copy editor and/or script editor, generally when people pay me.

Past publications have been for Harvard University Press, The Belfast Telegraph, and the Let’s Go Travel Guide Books.

Of course, the major project right now is my novel.  But my accompanying blog is an important side project, designed to keep you engaged as a reader, and me engaged as a writer of the fag hag experience.
